Jörg Müller is senior researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3 – UOC) in Barcelona, Spain where he forms part of the Gender and ICT research program. He obtained his PhD in Communications at the European Graduate School (EGS) in Saas-Fee, Switzerland and holds a degree in Sociology and Computer Science from the Free-University in Berlin, Germany. He has been coordinating several European projects on gender and science, including “GenPORT – Your gateway to gender and science resources” (2013-2017), GEDII – “Gender-Diversity-Impact” (2015-2018) and “ACT - Communities of Practice for Accelerating Gender Equality and Institutional Change in Research and Innovation across Europe” (2018-2021). Main research interests include practice based approach to gender (in)equality, the science of team science, and new, data intensive research methods within the social sciences.
Sergi Yanes, Ph.D. in Social Anthropology. I am currently working on the ACT project within the Gender and ICT research group (GenTIC) of the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) – Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). My scientific interests include urban and social inequalities, ordering and social control. I have worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), for the evaluation plan of the basic income trial experiment B-MINCOME (Urban Innovative Action-EU), and previously I have been part of the coordination staff of an educational program from the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay (MEC). I am a member of the Catalan Institute of Anthropology.
